My wife is related to the Rodrigues. Her mom is from Chackbay. Her grandparents had the little grocery store in the curve by Mikes.

Don't know. I left early since I had a crappy hand. Someone my wife knows sent her an email. My name was called for a door prize, an ice chest. I needed another ice chest to go with the 8 I already have.

I went form Amelia to Attakapas to Spunky Monkey to Mosquito Bar to Gros and back to Amelia and went 53 miles. Probably burned around 15 gallons.

There wasn't any of them big boats thay you see on the Tickfaw. A lot of bay boats, skiing boats and party barges. Did see three other Allisons.

light load with about 20 gallons of fuel is 64 MPH. Loaded with 60 gallons of fuel ice people 58 MPH. Yesterday in the heat with a full tank with one person 60 MPH. OFX 4 prop took away some top end but really helps hole shot an carries the load better.

Blazer Bay is about good as you can get for a bay boat around these parts.Does yours have the tunnel hull or regular pad ?

Re: Poker run on lake Verret (Groman)

John it is stepped up the last foot of the the boat where the high speed pickups are for the livewells and bait wells. Not really a tunnel hull though. More like a bass boat hull in the back.

Gro we did make it back to lakeveiw you probably didn't see my boat it was against the warf with three others tied to it! that place was packed and hotter than it was outside
Ended up rolling out of there at about 6. I would have stopped back by Gros bar but there were no more parking spots when I passed. That place is great!

When we came back to Lake View, someone walking by said it was cooler outside than inside. We didn't even stop, just keep going to the camp...went back after dark.
