    Re: Brand Loyalty (JOHN202)

the dodges all had over 250k when i got rid of them and everybody i know just about with an 06 and up chevy has had warranty work done on them. i switched because of the everyday fuel consumption was bad on the dodge. with the boat the dodge was actually better but i only pull a boat 4-5 days a month and have to drive the other 25 days without one! so i switched but i wont own another! Thats what i told mike V the other day he wanted to sell me a new one i told him when he got yotas or fords to call me!

Dodge has had body problems since the beginning of time. Before I got the wife the Impala she drives now, she had 2 Dodges. A Dynasty and an Intrepid. Both were POS's. The Impala has been a great ride so far (03 w/ over 100K on it). So I've decided there will be no more Dodges in my drive way unless it's visitors.

As far as fishing stuff, you can find some real deals on the swap and sell boards here, so you can try just about any of them for a reasonable price.

    Re: Brand Loyalty (Alan S)

I got a new Tundra with about 40k on it now , so Time will tell on the longevity of the vehicle . But the resale on Yotas are great and this sumbuck will haul the mail . I can tow my 20 ft cat up hill at 100 mph with no probs and still outrun every stock truck that Ive come across and a few other things also ! My father in law has had 3 Tundras over the past 6 yrs and been problem free . My wife has a Ford Expedition and weve had it in the shop for warranty work atleast 5 times in the last 3 yrs since she bought it new . Needless to say we wont be buying anymore Fords !!!!!!!!!

    Re: Brand Loyalty (KRAMER 21XD)

I couldn't bring myself to buy a Dodge, last 5 pick ups were GMC, the first had serious engine trouble repaired under warranty and was good to go. The 2nd one has AC switch problems 2 trips to the shop for repairs. The next 3 never saw the shop other than wear items as in any other vehicle. Have a 2500 HD diesel now and it has done well. I did read a post in the "what do you do" thread by a mechanic that stated all the diesels are good if they are in warranty. I have 83K miles & I made a mental note on his comment.
