Is the guitar players name Eric Johnson that is playing on the video? If so, what is the name of the song? Lonestar 92.5 plays this song while I am on the way to work most mornings between 4 a.m. and 4:45 a.m. They also play another one of his songs and they both kick arse.
Yep, you are correct! The 2 songs I edited into the video are "Ah Via Musicom/Cliffs of Dover" and "Righteous". The other song that Lone Star 92.5 plays from time to time is called "High Landrons" and you are so right, it kicks butt. It's got sort of a Hendrix feel to it with some truly inspiring guitar riffs. Just think about this, Eric Johnson released 'Ah Via Musicom" in 1990 so that make the album 17 years old but it still gets air play today. That says tons about the quality of music and the musician. You can pick this CD up online or in a used CD shop for $6. For me, Eric Johnson's "Ah Via Musicom" and Jeff Beck's "Wired" are the cornerstone's of my CD collection.
Thanks, UberChamp
Never knew the guys name but have heard him many times. Kinda has a sound and style that stands out. Thanks. Gotta get those + some others. Got dial-up so I have to download off YouTube overnight, LOL.
I like a freak called Buckethead too, LOL. Nottingham Lace and Pandasma(sp) with him in Praxis.

Just one look and you can tell its a Champ!
Thanks for putting this together! Brings back many fond memories of the 1988 176 with a 150 XR4 Mercury that I had back then. Man it was great to be young and really feel the rush of a fast bassboat. 1050 pounds with that Mercury on the back, really went like H&*. Again, thanks for your time and effort.
Great Job. Really fun to watch
I have run a Ranger for 31 years and love em. But if I had another bass boat, it would be a Champ. Man, what a sweet looking ride and great big water ride. Great video! Love the white Johnson driving by the cliffs, pretty intense! The one guy looks like he's ready to take off from a runway.
"Old fisherman never die, they just smell that way"

Nice work on the video!
I actually watched a skeeter video that was out there too, and its nuts how much better the Champion hull handles through those turns!

you know what i love about the champs is that you get a top end high speed turn and the skeeters claim to be the best performance boat but the cant turn when at a high trim just goes to show that the ultimate performance fishing boat is the champion
Skeeter?your lucky you still have a back left.Champs are the best ride, hands down.
That was a awesome video! My first champ was a 1987 184 with a 175 mariner. Would leave my 2005 187 champ with a 150 johnson in its wake!!!!
AWESOME ...the more I read ...and now see....the more I'm liking my ChampioN ......wife sez if I try that breach, she's gettin' out of the boat right there!!!
