    2019 H20 Bay 115hp sho
No jackplate and stock powertech 17"

4 people, full tank, full live well (minus da fish!!), no tackle.

42mph but way too many rpms (6600) pulled out as soon as I got it maxed out. Prop shopping at the moment.

Are there available factory wiring diagrams for these boats?

I'm looking to remove some of the birdnest of jumpers behind the switches and the 24v in series setup for the troll motors with these switches is not for the faint of heart.

I have a 2020 H20B. I love the boat but I've had tons of minor issues since the day I got it. From bad battery, dead stereo after two months to multiple elictrical problems. Happy to go into detail on any of them if anyone is interested. Most recently I had 3 trips to the dealer for an issue where my motor wouldn't crank without some TLC after fishing w/ the TM and PPs for an our in between big motor starts (150 SHO) and on the 3rd time in, they replaced the cable from the motor to the battery. I was told they "tested it" by running the finder, PPs and radio out back after the "fix" and could not replicate the issue, so they considered it fixed. Just took it out yesterday and now my radio doesn't work, at all. No flicker, nothing. I called them to report my findings and they claimed they never messed w/ the radio to which I replied, "but it was out back w the radio on and the radio worked while you were testing it and now it doesn't". So I was told bring it in and we'll move it to front of the line.

That's probably TMI but just for the back story, there it is. My question is: what could be the problem? There are no loose wires anywhere and from my research, looking myself, youtube and google...I don't have a standard fuse box? I know nothing outside of trolling motor prop fixes and very minor stuff. I always take the boat in for insured work done by professionals and bc most of the time it's all covered by warranty. I really don't want to take this boat back in for a problem I'm thinking is pretty small. I'm hoping someone has an easy fix or a "that happened to me" story. Radio has never given me an issue after the defective one was replace January of 2021. Thanks for any and all replies. Yesterday's 6 hours w/ iphone music in my pocket sucked.

i see this is a dead thread, but wanted to update

installed 10" manual and ran a trophy plus 4 blade 19P all plugs in at 3.5 P2P
    average hole shot
    45.2mph
    blow out
and tach 6800+. This does not seem correct. No way a 115 will turn that many rpms with a 4 blade 19p.

Dropped down to 4" P2P and will try a few 21p props, but trying to see how to test the rpm gauge.

    installed nmea2k

    trophy plus 4 blade 19p
    4" P2P
    6k rpm
    43.4 (windy)
2 solid plugs and 2 medium plugs
    still sluggish holeshot.

actually looks like i will need a 3 blade 19p

    powertech17p 3 blade
    4"P2P
    6k rpm blowout after that
    42
great hole shot but would lose bite trim up after 5800rpms

    gonna drop to 4.5" p2p and run a 19p 3 blade

Just an fyi, not guaranteed but plenty of times I was told Xpress stock tachs don’t read correctly. I had a 2018 h22b 200 sho and propped on it for over a year. Finally settled with a solas rubex l4 24p and thought I had it. Plenty of power good speed. Ended up replacing the tach after I was seeing 6500+ rpms (unless specifically requested during flashing, your rev limit kicks in @ 6250 I believe so motor should never go past that) and went with factory Yamaha tach. After that I couldn’t get my rpms passed 5800 light boat, I ended up getting the same prop in a 22p and it was much better at Holding the load and gained roughly 2mph, rpms could hit 6100 with full tank, ice chest and 2 ppl. Moral of the story I loved my Xpress but the factory Xpress tach is untrustworthy IMO. But I just saw where u said u hooked NMEA up so you should be accurate now

I have owned my H20B w/ 115 SHO for 2 years now and did a LOT of experimenting, this is what I found.
Stock prop Power Tech PTR3R17PYM90, this prop works ok all around.

Michigan Wheel Ballistic 19 Pitch, FAST even on a full load it would run 45mph, I did see 47mph on a very light load. The pitfalls you have to adjust trim a lot and is easy to blowout.

Power Tech RXB4 19 pitch, Hole shot and low speed are fantastic, top end speed not a good 40mph.

Power Tech SCD3 19 pitch, this was the money!! hole shot, top end, handling, grip all fantastic! Top speed 43-45mph on a heavy load.

Now a few things that will help you out.
    1. I have an Atlas hydro jack plate, run the motor all the way down and trim down, get on plane and run about 3/4 throttle move the plate up about 1/4in at a time till you get a pit more RPM, then stop.
Now add trim till you get bow lift (running on pad). Then go to full power if you get any blow out drop the jack plate 1/4in and retry. For me and the load i carry I run about 2 on the plate.

    2. Load the boat correctly keep the heavy stuff mid to mid rear it helps a LOT. I have 2 Garmin 12s on the bow and a Force TM and tackle up front. Cooler under the seat, and my 36v battery in the rear across from the 12v battery.

    3. When you setup your boat run it as heavy as you would normally would run it.

    Hope this helps!
