i have guidewear and really like it but about to pull trigger on simms prodry. Heard it may be 20% off at the classic if they are there and my brother is going there. Regardless going to try them out

Don’t hang any of them up by the straps. I did and it stretched them out and had to replace them

Simms also has free shipping. They are fast too and offer free returns if it does not fit. They often have some great closeout specials too on there.

Mark, read here or somewhere that they can be a bit difficult if you have to take a leak. Any truth to that? Dont they have a fly? Not sure if there even is an issue

No issues at all. I have both the Challenger and the Pro Dry suits. I used the Challenger for 5 days of heavy rains and stayed dry while fishing. Never have noticed either was an issue when nature calls.

The Gander Outdoors in Madison, WI had the Challenger models for 20% off. Not sure if this applies to all Gander stores.

Marmot Precip ... jacket and pants. Love the packable size, very light.
We don't have an issue with cold, just chilly days in winter ... maybe.
When I head north, I'll just layer and I'm still happy and comfortable.
On sale, about $150.00 for the entire set. And they hold up very well.

I do like the marmot. Have you stayed all day in the rain with them yet? Have you sat in a pool of water?

BPS Pro Qualifier. Had the same set for years and put it through the ringer. Once a year I’ll spray it down with heavy duty scotch guard.

I have both the Simms Challenger and Frabil 4. I use the Challenger when temps are warm and the Frabil when it's
    cold. Both work great.

I got my Frabill F1s on sale last summer for less than $135 for the jacket and bibs. They’re great for Florida weather since they’re raingear only, no insulation. The zippers work great and haven’t let a drop in. I doubt they will last forever but at that price I can upgrade whenever they stop working.
