I would think from viewing the video that the cord was deemed a trip hazard by the hotel. That may have been there cause for not wanting guest to charge a boat at there location. Possible past lawsuit??

not only that you have the chance of electrical shock.how many times have you closed the door and thought is that door biting into the cord.we all have done it.let someone get seriously injured or killed,that will be the end of electrical cords going under the door.

If they felt it was a waste of the cops time for them to come remove them from the room then how about you just leave when the hotel manager tells you to?
Yeah I found out in the past many of the video titles don’t ever really match the content. And as said above all hotels have worked with me even though they where not set up at boater friendly. Personally I don’t even consider one unless they say they can accommodate a boat being charged. It’s why I go in the first place.

The Googan squad is the biggest group of douche bags on the planet. How hard is it to ask if you can plug your boat in before you book a room.
Well first you ask. That is just the plain adult and right thing to do. In fact it is something you do when making your reservations or checking in. Bad example for kids I never considered this group a role model for young fishermen. Though I have no problems with them making money, I just don't consider them fishermen or good ambassadors of the sport. Because of this I don't use any products they sale or support. Lol not like I will make a dent in their income stream.
Now I had smart parents. It went like this if didn't make sense then it didn't happen. So does it make sense that several cops would show up for a boat hooked up being charged by an overnight guest. Give it some thought. I mean use what is between your ears. Does this make sense. No way. We can only assume what really went down. I'm not going to guess. But the version of this video no way makes sense it just didn't happen.
What is sad they did not follow rules made a video of it and now the hotel is going to be harassed. That's how they get their fun and weird followers or worse yet young kids that follow the wrong mentors. And yet parents let them and buy their products. Shame on those parents. Parents be a rolemodel to your kids do the right thing.

The way they put the OPD logo in the vid makes me think that they want to blame the LEO for their dumb act. Typical snot nose kid attitude. Maybe Best Western should ban them from all of their hotels.

I have had the tripping thing came up on a couple times and talk with the manger on duty to try to come with something that works for them and myself. My best solicitation was using duct tape and tape it to the side walk so it was no longer a tripping hazard.
Finally someone with brains on this thread! Duct tape to the rescue. Always keep a couple orange cones in the back of your tow vehicle as well.

They have a You Tube Fishing Show that BBCer's watch though some won't admit to it.
They are Living the Dream traveling around fishing and making fishing videos.
They probably make more money from fishing than most guys on the BBC
I also heard they are kind to dogs as well as little kids plus they never try to run their boat on land, wear better looking shorts than Biffle and will "Never Give Up" making videos that get them free publicity on the BBC.

Yep there were "Jackass" TV shows and they made a couple of movies. Good ol' USA where you can make lots of money being a jackass.
I have never watched one of their videos and won't start with this one. Most hotels will work with you when asked. Orange cones marking the cord works well.
