Katie and I are still planning to be there but it's really up in the air as of today. I had to take my boat back to the shop today for a bad seal in the trim cylinder and I'm not sure it'll be ready by then. We're still hoping for a minor miracle, though.....

Several years ago I and my wife were signed up to fish a Guys/Dolls tournament on Seminole.... got there early, signed up and went thru inspection and put the boat in and was floating in the darkness arranging rods waiting for blast off.....

When the Tournament director yells out thru a bull horn that Rick Smith and wife needed to return to the registration tent because my wife had not signed the liability wavier.

I yelled out across the water that my wife was deceased........to which the TD gave his condolences over the bull horn and then asked why I had not gotten any of our friends to make up a Guys/Dolls team, as was required.....

I yelled back that they were all going to the funeral..............

Well I finally broke my dry spell this morning! I caught 1 spot, 1 head and 2 small mouth speckled bass. I may be weighing in several of those small mouth speckled bass in tomorrow.

Eddie put me and pops down for tomorrow. Day break this morning was 5:15 safe light was 5:30 I plan on being in the water by 5:10- 5:15am

Sorry to bail on you guys but it looks like Katie and I won't be there after all since my boat's still in the shop. I just got off the phone with the mechanic and it looks like it won't be ready until sometime next week or even the week after. This totally sucks!!
