Maybe we should pin that website to the top for future reference.

Re: Skeeter retractable tie downs (Bass Junkie)

Called the Worth company today and ordered some of the rope ends. Remember Skeeter wanted $15 each for them, I just bought them for .80 cents each. Skeeter likes to rip off their clients. What a shame.

I ordered a few extra so if anyone needs a set let me know.

Glad you found them. It's amazing what some companys will sell some items for when you can get them cheaper else where or direct from the company. There is a post that is pinned up at the top where they were collecting parts information. You could just add it to that post.

    Charger,

I'm glad you found them. My vendor didn't know what I was asking for when I described to him.

Re: Skeeter retractable tie downs (basspro)

Well I dont mind paying a little extra by going to a dealer, but my God, $15 is abit much for something that costs .80 cents. Maybe gas and milk isnt soooo expensive

I would like these on my boat. Mine just has a cleat with no mooring rope. Has anyone swapped them out for those ?

Re: Skeeter retractable tie downs ***UPDATE*** (Charger)

I had the same thing happen and I bought small diameter bungee cords and took the hooks off the old ones and crimped them on the new ones. it works great and looks good too. I will post some pics tonight.
