What is your prop shaft to pad measurment? Per Hydrotec, you can run 12psi minimum. Sounds like you just need to raise motor.

Brent....what is your prop to pad measurement now?

And if there is any way at all, definitely meet with Pat. He knows how to set up our boats!

You should be kissin 6k rpms and 70gps if rigged right..assume a 25 pitch...engine 2 inches below pad for my 200 HDPI, carefully measured...wp should be less than 25 at end of the setup journey.

Put trailer on level ground. Using trailer jack and carpenter's level on trailer frame, level the trailer. Then put the carpenter's level on the motor cavitation plate and trim motor till cav plate is level. Then measure from lowest section of the bottom of the boat (just forward of the drain and livewell holes) to the ground. Then measure from the center of the motor nosecone (propshaft) to the ground. The difference is prop-to-pad measurement. A good place to start is for prop shaft to be 3.5" belwo the pad.

Somewhere on here are pics, but not needed if you follow the instructions above...

Meet Pat!!!!!! He'll get you set up right!

    Re: Boat Speed (Lea)

I did the measurement and i came up with 3-1/2" i measure from the lowest part of the boat to the ground and then measure from the center of the prop to the ground and substracted.

Now go meet up with Pat! I would give my eye teeth to be able to have him run my boat... You got an offer that most of us would never, ever think about refusing!!!
