Now, Gil, I thought you was talking about my wife whoooweeee you gotta know womens moods before you say something YOU think is funny or jokingly at them - they can bite your head off quicker than a drill sergeant if you step wrong
I just realized after taking photos of my vest with it OFF, that next to the Tuy Hoa patch was my USAF Vietnam Vet patch which was SUPPOSE to be above the left pocket. OOOPS. My DaNang patch wasn't on there so now I'm wondering did I not give them that patch. Oh well, but today I became a Lifetime Member of the DAV, so eventually I'll get that patch, so it'll go on the right side above the pocket when I get the correction done. I'm also considering become a Legacy Lifetime Member of the VFW but I'm gonna visit the local chapter which is a half mile from my house and see what they are like.

I don't know what I'd do if my wife died. That would be a terrible blow to me.
It's been a long ten years, I think of her daily. I met her when I was in the Navy at Mare Island, we wee together for 35 years.

Alright guys, I know more of you have a vest, lets see it![]()
Boats, I like the way how you incoporated both your love of bike riding with the navy experience. I really do like that Navy patch on the back of the vest. Wished I could have found an air force patch in similar design.
Thanks, if I run into one I will buy it and send it your way. That being said, make it through your surgery and hang out for awhile.![]()
