Needless to say I did inspect the brakes. there was only about 2mm left on them. Caliper's were fine but rotors were within minimum discard. I put Pads & rotors on. Cleaned & lubed guides & contact areas & she was back on the road for less than half what Meineke wanted ot do </td></tr></table>

No surprise there. Many years ago I worked at a Goodyear Tire and Auto Center. The shit I saw them do to their customers, especially women and the elderly, was criminal.

I learned a lot from my father-in-law, but I had a carpenter and mechanic for grandpas. And every single one of us is a "thrifty" German who hates to pay somebody to do something
