Holy cow. Well I got P90X for my wife, she didn't do it at all. She liked plyometrics more than weights. I then got Insanity and today we started the 60 day Insanity program. We took pictures and did the Fitness Test. Wow I have come a long way down hill from my college fitness days. The pictures were gross and my stamina level was even worse.

The 60 Day mark is March 20, just in time to be in great shape for the spring.

Let me know how your workouts go Joe. This is going to kick my butt, and I need it.

    Re: (Shoot)

Well, learning the hard way that maybe age is catching up to me. Wrenched my back again doing deadlifts. Really disappointing. Not even lifting heavy with them, just felt a slight twinge in my back doing them yesterday and knew from experience I was gonna be hurting today... and I was . Starting to think I may have to totally eliminate the deads from my workouts altogether . Hoping it loosens up tonight. Had planned to have tonight off anyway so I'm not missing any lifting time. Everything else is going good though. Hoping this passes quickly so I don't miss any lifting time

Have you tried rack deads so that your not picking up from the ground. It will assist with back problems if you choose to try them again

Very good idea, I use to over load with a high setting to try to help my sticking point to finish the move off.

    How ya feeling Joe?
I did back yesterday and thought about you. I don't think I am going to do the Insanity like it wants me to do it. I couldn't stand not doing weights. I think I will work in two days of cardio throughout the week with it instead.

Well be safe and lift big.

    Re: (Shoot)

Just one day of bad back pains, it sucked but I've had a LOT worse. Haven't missed any workouts because of it so that's good. Legs tonight so we'll see how that goes . May avoid the squats until I'm 100%.
