I took my wife to the classic last time it came, and she loved it. It's full of energy during the weigh in.

I'm pretty sure the weigh in will be free as well as the expo (which is also awesome) in the superdome. Thats how it was last time.

The expo is not in the superdome. It is in the Morial Convention Center. As for following some fishermen, they are going to be spread out so much, better bring a bunch of gas. I would probably launch in Desallemands and see who shows up. Or maybe Bayou Black.

No tickets to buy....just show up at the door and run like hell when they open them up for the best seat in the house. I also believe the expo is free.

Sorry, but I took off of work for the Friday, and bought a nice big pair of really good binoculars so I can go into the Big Cat and watch through them from a distance. I am going to do that on Friday. On Sat and Sun, I will be at the Expo and weigh in.

Bump.. get you a pair of Binoculars and you can ride with me.

I believe some work is being done on the inside of the superdome and thats why they moved the expo to the convention center.

The expo and the weigh in is open to the public - both are free of charge. 1 year me n my buddy followed them to delacroix and the pen. to be honest we both felt a little guilty with following those guys. we asked ourselves if would want some folks watch us while we had some serious money on the line. So we but pledged that we wouldn't do it again. Hell! We know how guys would act for a small club tournament if you fish in the area they were fishing.
To be honest with you guys and no disrespect. Me and my buddy are wishing that the weather plays a factor to keep the locals from following and crowding those guys. As sure Chit stinks if those guys are on fish with the local watching them catch. Some dumb ass will be on their spots the next morning hammering those fish. An lord forbid when the classic is over! Everybody an their mamma when be on those spots.
Guys, I pray to the lawd that we don't have no incidents that would bring a ugly look upon those of us who enjoy the sport of bass fishing.


I say give those guys their space!
