GW Fins off of Bourbon is also excellent. A little upscale, but great.

WOW! This place is NUTS - and fun too. Back from all day out on the town, mostly eating and walking around...
Had breakfast at Mothers - definitely good and a fun atmosphere.
Went across the river on the ferry to Dry Dock for a bowl of seafood gumbo and a cold - also very good.
Hopped on the street car up to Central Grocery where we had a muffaletta - AMAZING!! I'll go back for another for sure.
Down Bourbon street had a couple and browsed around a bit. It's HOT here today
Then to cafe du mond for bignets... now back here to relax and have some more in the air conditioner!
Thanks for all the tips and suggestions!

Glad you had a good time today. If ya wanna try some chargrilled oysters find drago's or acme oyster. Awesome food. Drago' s slogan for their oysters is that they are the best single bite in the city

We were stuffed when we walked by Dragos, but sounds like we'll have to find room to give these oysters a try before we leave! Thanks for all the tips... I have Masperos on the list since it seems to be highly recommended as well. Any more advice, I'd love to hear it!
