Update: I went to the doctor <u>again</u> today. Seems like I've been doing that a lot lately.
Bad news: My incision isn't healing very well and I'm retaining body fluids. They took out 4-5 of the staples from the main incision, cut it open a tiny bit to allow for drainage, and put me on antibiotics for another week. They will re-check the incision next Wednesday.
Good news: They finally took that @#$%ing catheter out!!!! At least now I can pee like a man!!!!![]()
I'm not sure how much longer I'm gonna be off work. I'm guessing at least another 2 weeks, maybe more. That's fine with me, because I have a max of 12 weeks of Short Term Disability insurance I can draw. I can't think of one good reason to rush back to the salt mine. Besides, I'm enjoying this taste of pre-retirement!![]()
