I like my wife in the boat with me, but leave the lake frustrated been trying to properly cristen (sp?) the boat for 5 years now.... No in all seriousness I welcome women into this sport wholeheartedl just not my wife.... Fishing is my time. If she was as serious about it as me I might feel differently, but until she say" Honey I think I need a new Worm Rod she can keep her arse at the house!

My wife is very serious and will put in 14 hour days, but she doesn't ask for her own gear, but it does allow me to buy enough stuff for two. That way when I need a new specialty item, I just say it's for her. Heck, it's even got me a nice set of summer raingear and lightweight waders for summer float tubing, not to mention rods and baits.
