Well that makes me feel better...I didn't throw that A-rig much last saturday as I wasn't getting the quality of fish on it needed; thought I had messed up by not throwing it enough.
The shad rap and jerkbait were producing, but I couldn't seem to located the big'uns I had found before the tournament. Before the tournament, they were headed in to the bays, in less than 2 ft of water, come tournament time they were gone...and I couldn't ever figure out where they went![]()
I had a tough day, spent it searching all day with little to show....wish I had gone crappie fishing after I caught this hawg on the bank in shallow water![]()

Home, bruised but no defeated. Caught some Wed evening and Thur on A-rig and Carolina rigged lizzard. Rained a lot Thur got up this morning to rain, decided to stop at Rough river on the way home it was raining there too. Came on home, all and all wasnt a terible 1.5 days just could have been better. Had a 4lb11oz was my biggie for the day yesterday, with probably 10-12 in the 2lb range. OK now you can tell me what I should have done..........lol. Thanks for your help.

Put down the A-Rig would be the first thing. I've been cathing some here and there on it, but have been doing MUCH better with shallow cranks and lipless baits.
