Sounds good to me. I hope we can remember it. In the mean time if anyone wants to get together and play sometime shoot me an IM. I'm always up for a round of golf.

There was a course in Bardstown that was okay but it has been at least 8 years since I have been there called Maywood. That is a central location.

I'll tell ya' what - I've been dying to try out the course at Dale Hollow! Looks like a real heartbreaker!!! I have heard the one at Barren sucks, but that was last summer, and it was bone-dry...

    Re: BBC Golf Scramble (fishinbrad)

There's a few guys at work that play Dale Hollow several times a year and they all say it's one of the nicest courses they've played around here. It's tight as hell and lot's of sand too. I'm playing it this year sometime.

    Re: BBC Golf Scramble (dpage70)

It has been 6-7 years since I have played a round of golf. In the late 90s early 00s I played Barren River State Park several times a year with my golf buddies/co workers. At the time Barren had a great course.

After they built the course at Dale Hollow my co workers no longer go to Barren because they say Dale Hollow is one of the best around. I have never played Dale Hollow but have only heard positive things about it.

My coworkers will occasionally ask me to play if they need somebody to make a foursome.I always give them the same answer...golf is for people who don't know how to fish I have made that comment so many times that I now feel the urge to dust of my clubs and go play a round

Years ago you could get a State Park golf pass that would allow you to play all State Park golf courses. It had some restrictions on holidays and the amount of times you could play a month. We played Burnside at lake Cumberland and Barren as many times as the pass would allow.

Soooooo.... I think we need to get the ball rolling (no pun intended) on this! How about 4-man teams, pick your own, but they must be BBC members.

I have a BBC scramble team and they have said they will take on any other teams who think they have what it takes.
