Mike and I talked about this too, we feel that Friday the cold front was just coming thru and give those fish lockjaw. Don't get me wrong, somewhere on that lake Friday there was fish feeding. Saturday the front had passed and the fish got active, I bet the bite was even much better today. Matt and Adam fished today so lets see if they don't post a good report later today. I know I was scratch my head Friday night, because we fished the same water we had been catching fish on for 3 weeks, I mean good fish, and not to get a bite sucked.

I'd like to thank Jeff Canterbury for putting on this tourney......It was a cold but great day to be on the water...... enjoyed the camaraderie of fishing with some fine folks.....it was nice to put several faces to some names we see here on this site.....just glad we were goin' after them brown fish and not green ones 'cause some of the guys had a few limits and monster greens.... ... great group of guys here in this IN/KY/OH/TN Bass Club........ Matt and Adam said they were going back out today (Sunday) and while I would have liked to, I felt like an ice cube yesterday afternoon ---just curious to see how Matt does today...... tight lines.....

Thanks Jeff and Matt, for getting this Rally together. Thanks, Jeff, for letting all of us stay at the house. It was good to meet all the guys that I had not previously met. All in all I had a great time! We caught probably 10 total on Saturday, but couldn't seem to get a 21".

The bite was more consistent all day for us. I fished mostly new water except 1 spot early am which produced 2 of our fish. They were knocking the fire out of that jig though. There was no doubt you were getting bit when you hooked up. All the fish I caught were thumpin it hard!!!
