Round nose pliers work good or check out round nose nesting pliers...

Yep, Ranger 361V nailed it. Those two items are the cat's meow for making the circle in the wire.

Ive never bought a chatter bait, never fished one... I tend to stay away from what everyone tom, dick, joe and harry are throwing ... couple years ago thats was all the rage .. I just dont like using the same stuff everyone else is throwing ...

But this idea may get me to try a couple
