Yes not removing the boat from the trailer is a no no when doing a resto. As for paint on a bass boat, I really wish people would educate themselves more being saying it cant be done or it wont last. YES it can be done and if done right it will last. What do you think is on all the custom high speed boats? On my resto its been over a year and I have no problems. My boat has been in the water every weekend from the day it rolled out of the garage.

I followed the restoration of your boat. Wow it turned out nicely. I know when i joined i think back in 2006 there was not much on here about restoration. I am glad to see more and more members getting help and taking the plunge ot make the repairs themselves. You will not find a better group of guys here on BBC!!!!
