The lack of activity on this thread is pathetic! Patoka is a good fishery and you can never hardly find any good reports! So here is mine :)
Fished 9/3/12 from daylight till 2pm. Water was 79-81 degrees, was cloudy and drizzly all day. Fished the main lake and S. Lick Fork areas. Only luck I had was fishing in and around the weeds, all shallow bites. Most came on top water, and a few on a swim bait. Once 11am hit, I hardly had a bite. Fished wood in S. Lick area too, not a bite on the wood. I'm not quite sure what the fish are doing at that point during the day. I don't think they are super deep, but I sure as heck couldn't get them to bite either way. Ended up with only 1 keeper. I'll post again next time I go out.
