Re: Jig heads still loose....... (Swerve-n-Protect)

When I am pouring them, I just pour that mold full, then move on to 3 or more other molds I have put hooks in, and by the time I take all the other baits out of those molds I take the tip ups out by the sprue and let them cool. They are the last to get the sprue removed with gate cutters and NO problems with being loose or shaky. Once the powder coat hits them they are solid as can be!! Hope this helps!

Ya, I bought another mold and got it yesterday....I may go back and forth between the two molds, letting them set up longer.....I think it should be good to go....

If you continue to have trouble try using this stuff. I've been pouring for around 30 years and just started using it about a month ago. It's absolutely the best product I've ever used when pouring. Your cavities will fill out a lot better and they literally fall out of the mold when you open it up. I found out about it on Tackleunderground. Smoking the mold never really worked for me but this stuff is downright amazing!

Why do people fish, some say people fish to get fish, this is obviously false

I bought some off of ebay but you can also get it from midway usa. Instead of smoking your molds you lightly spray this on each mold half. It works like magic. The mold cavities fill better than ever and you don't have to pull and pry to get them to release. They fall right out. I had a mold that I hardly ever used because the collar would never completely pour. It was the first mold I sprayed this stuff on and it poured perfectly the first time I used it. Best stuff I've ever used. You won't be disappointed. Read the reviews from midway usa. This product should be pinned at the top of the page for those that pour jigs.

    All of that.
