Dont try it unless you have a factory service Manuel, ultrasonic cleaning tank, special tool to remove and replace regulator covers and something to push liquid cleaner thru all the lines and the direct injector still will need to be sent out for cleaning and validation

Hey don just wondering if you would know the part numbers for the fuel/air regulators and the tracker valve motor serial number is 0T774710

I found the tracker valves on the mercury parts catalogue as #

    that is correct
Those rails need to be completely striped and ultrasonically cleaned, then thoroughly flushed
Direct injectors are at risk, if not already damaged, the crud you see in the cover is also in the rails and air fuel pressure regulator
    Rails may be done for!

i just got my fuel/air injectors back from testing and cleaning, all injectors came back with good numbers and shop said no issues with them.. iam going to clean out the fuel rails myself as i enjoy tinkering on my own stuff and our local shops are pretty pricy.. i also just orderd the tool for removing the fuel/air regulators on the port fuel rail so once i have this i can strip the rails and give them a good clean, our local merc dealer wants $260 just for tracker diaphragm.. and $400 each for fuel air regulators anybody every order them from ebay? seems to be half the price on ebay then the merc dealer..

yeah im not sure if its a mix of rust and sand.. but i picked up the boat this spring and put 70hrs on her this summer and she never skipped a beat.. untill my last time out i had 2 big puffs of blueish/white smoke at 2 different start ups.. thats when i noticed oil puking from pulley side of the compressor.. iam very surprised she ran as good as it did with the condition the tracker valve was in.. cold starts she would spit and sputter but would clear its self out once warmed up a bit..

thanks don iam waiting on the tool to take fuel/air regs out and inspect them.. i would have loved to have them tested with the 2 fuel/air gauges from the dealer with motor running but i already stripped my compressor, sent fuel/air injectors out for cleaning/servicing.. after seeing the tracker valve in bad shape iam scared to put it all back together and chance some dirt or corrosion getting into the injectors.. i dont have a ultrasonic cleaner but i plan on giving them a good clean with some power tune or carb cleaner and light abrasive pad to break up the gunk also with the help of compressed air. Any tips for cleaning the rails? ive ran quick care and quickleen in every tank since i bought the boat as well.

They're cheap because there's no warranty and no assurance they're real Mercury parts, and that's just one reason eBay and other non-Mercury sources are not supported here.

Im replacing that part currently. It's a check valve and is about $50 Canadian. It's about a 1.5 week wait on delivery for me.

That fitting is not a check valve it is just a 90 degree fitting #887801. The check valve is the 90 in the compressor.

We don't post prices in the forums as they are subject to change DAILY. Additionally- pricing in Ontario WILL differ from pricing in the US Market.
