I saw this new story on a local TV station. In the story there was not a single word mentioned about the opponent being from a predominantly Jewish area, which only made me think of the coach as stupid, not racist. But, purposely using it against a primarily Jewish team is likely career ending.

It’s for sure dumb, and also people get offended far too easily these days. So I’d say both are true. The coach will be fired for it I’d think.
