Maybe they designed a way to lower the times it grabs the line when you flutter it. I refuse to throw a red eye they are the worst about

I know they’re wildly popular, catch fish and they have sold eleventy bazillion of them but as a lipless bait fanatic, I’ve never thrown one. I can’t put a finger on it but there’s just something about them that I don’t like.

Never understood why every hard bait on the market wasn't available in the Bone color. I just bought a Duo rattle bait that I didn't need just because they had it in Bone color. Jack All needs to make it in all their rattle baits as well.

Maybe a false memory, but didn.t the bone color live under the finish of some crankbaits? Use them enough and you had a bone color crankbait.

Some good looking colors. Original BL trap still catches em, I’d be willing to bet this one will too. Trap season is on the way, if not already rockin in some areas

That smallie magic color is one of those colors I could see using on a variety of bodies of water. Definitely getting a couple. Like the fact too that they come in a 5/8oz size.

grabbed a few - gold and perch always hit well in Fl, grabbed the Oyster as well.

I’ve used the Red Eye, but not a fan… I can think of at least a half dozen different lipless baits that are better producers for me.

Agree. The red eye is probably my least favorite.

They are a beautiful trap, I think most rattle baits will catch some fish, don’t get me wrong lol. Just wonder if this one carries the bill Lewis tradition of great ones. I still love the original as well
