I fish a lot of muddy water, and I've been saved by a BPS black/firetail Tournament Series worm, Texas rigged.

I probably use a 7.5 culprit 75% of the time I am fishing.

I've been pond fishing a lot lately on venues that get a lot of pressure. A guy saw me pulling a few out on areas he had recently worked over and asked what I was throwing. Finesse worm hooked through the middle, 8 pound mono on a medium light rod. Toss out at different spots and let it sink on its own (its painfully slow, and tested my patience in 5-8' water), but they've been eating it when nothing else gets attention.

Have tried adding a 3/32nd split shot about a foot above it and it helps the sink rate, but not the same amount of bites.

Normally its a weightless Senko but when it gets really tough then its a drop shot with a 4.5" straight tailed Robo worm.
