Aww your bring ole john with ya? Let me guess he is bringing that jig with him??? Oh boy billy you are gonna be in them trees all day Y'all have fun I am looking forward to a report.
Nope - I am gonna make him c-rig and deep crank offshore all day!! None of that hung up chase him all over type weekend. The docks don't produce there anyhow!!
If you haven't heard I'm giving Jepp to Brandon to fish with this tournament. I will be fishing with my son. We are leaving Thursday after school and should be in Milledegeville about 7 or so. Are you staying at the Days Inn? Give me a call when you guys get close.
Robbie - Call me on my cell when you see this. I thought I had your cell but only your home #.

Jason - once John bangs the side of the dock with his 2 oz jig they won't be any under there!!
I sure am glad he don't visit this site!!
I wish I could go this weekend. Catch a few for me and make John (Jig Clanker) Lundeen throw a senko or something. Have fun, I will just have to make up for missing this weekend at Billy's Lake (No Fish) Oconee next month.
Oconee SUCKS!!! I may not go there. I could probably do better by staying home next month and saving my money for sure.....
By the way, I have forbidden John to bring any jigs with him!!!
I have caught lots of nice fish around docks for as long as I can remember, day and night. Even those with out lights at Oconee.

Me too, but the club that Billy and I fish with notoriously seem to schedule to fish Oconee after the worst cold front of the year, every year. I went up the weekend before our club tournament and had a 12 pound limit in half a day with nice overcast, warm Oct. weather. The following weekend temps dropped below freezing, frost everywhere and I caught 11 or 12 fish with only 3 of them being keepers over 2 days. Maybe we will hit it right one year.
BFL Lake Sinclair February 24th. This was a tough tournament for most of the field of 209 boats. I placed 3rd with 10.12 and it took 15 to win. 5 pounds got a check in the boater side. The fish are in between winter and pre-spawn staging areas and you had to either run and gun for a bite here and there or camp out on an area all day long. I chose to camp out and fish a carolina rig in 7-10 feet near a spawning area. I was using a carolina rigged Zoom Baby Brush Hog with 50lb. braid main line and a Fluorocarbon leader. With all the pressure from the BFL, that fluorocarbon leader was the trick in my book.

anyone with any fishin tips for lake sinclair. got a club tournament out of island creek and have only been there once. tournament is may 19. please anyone with any good hole or advice let me know.
Well I spent the weekend with friends at Sinclair. Got to fish 2 hours on Sat and 1 1/2 on sunday. Tried topwater, shallow, and deep cranks on Sat with no luck whatsoever. Sunday morning got out around 9:30. Buddy caught one little one on a c-rig and I got 2 keepers on drop shot. Deep and slow is where to go if you are on Sinclair right now....
Anyone been on Sinclair Lately??
I'd appreciate a report....
Wow, slow board. Anyone fishing the BFL in February or the GON's Skeeter Eliminator Series in March???

Nope. I really was interested this year in signing up. With work schedule and fishing TBF qualifer i didn't want to burn the extra time. Have you fished Sinclair lately?
fished sinclair sat for a small club tx. I won it with 5 fish weighing like 6.53. second place was just over 2.5 lbs with 2 fish. Its tough though but i still culled 4 times. Caught all mine in the grass up in little river throwing a watermelon candy trick worm texas rigged. i was just kind of swimming it through the grass and then letting it fall to the bottom in the holes in the grass. Hope this helps somebody. water temp is around 81-83 deg. water is stained from all the rain we had last week. Im heading to the hill next month if anybody has any info. thanks and good luck to all!
Good report. What club do you fish with?
i fish with bryan co. Ill be seeing yall at eufaula this year again. West point wassnt the best last year. I think i placed like 49th.
