Hey Gary those seats on your 290 look good , did they come from the Boat Seat Store? I am looking to replace my tired old seats on my 221.
Yes sir they did come from the "BOAT SEAT STORE", great service from those folks. I paid $299 and got free shipping, no sales tax. They are great seats. I'd recommend using them to anyone
Let me add that your boat looks like new, love the color too

Thanks Gary, your 290 is awsome. I am going to upgrade my boat a little, with new seats and some motor work when it needs to be reworked. I am going to order my seats soon. Thanks again
Thanks for the compliments . It looks better in pictures. I bought it used and it has it's share of stress cracks, bottom scrapes, little dings etc. But she's water tight, rides and fishes great. The only thing I miss over a larger boat such as yours is a larger front deck area. Other than that, she's good to go for me.
It had a Merc 150 XR6 on it when I bought it. I started to sink some money into the 150 motor than realized, dollar wise I'd be better off just hanging a big motor on it. I've got LED's under both consoles and in all the front lockers, and LED's in the rear storage compartments, live wells and battery compartment.

Where did you get the blue main engine tubes from, those set the color scheme off great!

i feel some red ones coming on!
I'd have to agree, red would be my choice too on your rig. Red is far easier on the eye's when it's dark, I learned that during my time in the Navy aboard ships. I bought all my LED's from, Oznium.com, because I wanted small but powerful lights that can be easily hidden. Most all there module lights, those that are encased in epoxy come with 3M tape on the backs. Silicone works good when you need to attach to a rough fiberglass surface. Good prices easy to work with and they stand behind there stuff 100%.
Get'r lit up !!!!!!!!!

Yeah, the front deck is big although my wife would love to have a dual console. It is the last 221 Sprint ever made before they went belly up after 9/11. I bought it from them for 8600.00 in 2002 boat and trailer only. It runs great with the 200 v-max ~ 70 on GPS with a 27 yamaha prop. Which model seat did you get from the boat seat store?
John,
I see they are cheaper now than when I bought mine and shipping is still free. There selling for $289.99 now. Here's the link to the seats I bought:
