I never had a \"10\".....but, one night, I did five \"2\'s\"
Here's mine....(the pic isn't the best...better at rod building than photgraphy!!)
Here are some pics of rods i built over the last few years.. new pics on the way soon..
These are just my personal rods and prototypes..
I know that having no fore grip at all is popular these days but that's not my favorite look so i do little 1" fore grips so you can still touch the blank while fishing
George Roth calls it a "Comfort Button"
Here is a new 7'-6" cranking rod I completed this week. It is built on a Castaway 904 blank from Swampland with blue burl cork grips, ECSM reel seat and Fuji BLAG micro's.

My new years resolution was to finish the last personal rod i never had time to do all last year - thus completing all my personal 2010 rods almost in 2010!
these were some bargain bin castaway HG40 blanks that were quite nice - especially for the 12$ a piece i paid for them! 2 flipping sticks, a 6'8" topwater, and the far right is a ranishadow rx7 7'0"er
i've had a friend of mine working on metal end caps and these all have the first revision of them. I'm using a 1/4 piece of rubberized cork around the edges of it. Couple tweaks to the new ones and i will have a nice end cap system that will also serve as a means for adding balance weights.
Dude those look cool! Would like to see a close up of the end caps.
Nice work.

Here is a wacky worm rod I am building. The guides get wrapped tonight!
I tried the crackle paint on the reel seat. I used to much black paint, it didn't crackle. So to save it a did a light spray of red.
MHX FS906 -- 7'6" XH Flippin' Stick. This is my second build. Wish I wouldve went with a Fuji ECS reel seat, but not too big a deal. Spiral wrapped to 4mm batson micros.

Scott is the best forking corker that I know.... Maybe here in the next couple days I will post some pictures of some of the rods that he has built for me
Here are my first two builds.
Pine handle, 6' MH rebuild
Claro Walnut, 7' Heavy Full build
Beautiful Work!! Most weaves are a little too much but that one is just right. Great colors.
