Wasn't the outcome I wanted but it was a really good game. The place was rocking once Florida tied it up at 4.
So I sit down at 7 PM thinking I'm going to watch game 3 but nope! Guessing the game was on ABC so it wasn't on my Sling to record. 11 minute highlight package it is. Oh well..... at least the Rags won! Damn.....Laffy looked great. Maybe he'll just be a late bloomer but still become a star player.

Rangers and Panthers all tied up at 2. This has been a very close series with 3 out of the 4 games going to overtime.
Florida absolutely deserved to win that game last night. NY couldn't get the puck out of their own zone for nothing. Florida was living in the Rangers end for most of the 2nd and all of the 3rd period. The forechecking job by the Panthers was nothing short of stellar. Shesterkin made a whole youtube video highlight reel in one game and he's the ONLY reason the Rangers only lost by 1 goal bc the final score easily could've been 10-2.
NY has to get their sh!t together. They'll lose this series if they play like they did in periods 2 & 3 last night. As a lifelong Rangers fan, it was hard to watch.
Panthers moving on. What a great series. NY is a great team and it was a great battle.

So I haven't really watched the series between Dallas and the Oilers but how does everyone think the Panther Oilers matchup? Watching some pre game analysis and it sounds like the oilers are a very good defensive team as well.

My opinion...if Florida forechecks and plays like they did against the Rangers, Edmonton will get beat.
Shesterkin is the only reason the Rangers didn't get swept in the ECF. Florida made them look like crap.
From what I have seen, I pretty much agree. Would like to see Edmonton finally bring the cup back to Canada, but I think Florida will win with their relentless forecheck.
I have a feeling this is going to 7 games.
