Back in the early 70's I found a Coke bottle on a string inside the inner/trunk 1/4 panel of a new Chrysler Imperial with a note. They did a full blown investigation, finger prints, traced the serial number to the day and shift it was built etc.
You know, back in the early 70's I worked for a Buick dealership and the body shop manager was talking about that, weird how stuff gets around. He had a station wagon with a strange noise and was thinking someone did that because they heard the joke. Turns out it wasn't.
