    The Ditch

Might have a shot at fishing the ditch out of 3 forks the first part of October. Any idea of what to expect, or where to fish?

    Thanks Senkoboy........

    Re: The Ditch (Allsup)

it took 13 lbs to win rod benders and 14 to win hog hunters
i think mainly on crank baits i had two on cranks and one on a old monster wtmln
we had 6-11 that was 6th place and they paid 5
i think there wer about 10-15 of the rodbenders that blanked out of 27-30 boats

they need to change the name to the MUD PIT, if i ever going back will be for some bow fishing see alot of monster gar swimming 3 to 4 ft. long. seen alot of bait fish in some of the creek. allsup how long do you think it will take grand to recover from all the dead bass in the last month or so.

As far as the fishing it still very good! 400 fish isn't really a large percentage of the fish in Grand. There is probably that many filleted each week. Took 4 fish 20 lbs to win this weekend.
From a PR stand point it will take longer. It just look terrible for tournament fishing. The tournament last weekend was a good start they really took care of the fish. I hear they had about 15 dead fish out of about 700 weigh in and 6-8 of those were pickup floating the next day. They might not have even been caught in the tournament just dead float with in a mil or 2 of echo bay. They did a very good job this weekend and I think the GRDA and wildlife department were impressed.

    Re: The Ditch (Allsup)

i was wondering about all the female that was lost and all the fry that they would produce? like back in the middle 80s to early 90s when you could kill a limit of quail in this state by noon, then the wildlife dept kept telling us that a disease all but wipe out them in 92 or 93 and it never has been the same since
