Evans lake and Pine lake help

Heading there this weekend for the first time to practice for the classic tourney on June 4th. Any recommendations? I get to fish Pine on Saturday and Evans on Sunday .... I am fishing Evans for the tourney.

Get ready to have fun.. We had a blast last year not only during practice on Evans but the tourney day on Evans as well..

Think we finshed top 3 and had Big Bass @ 5.37..

Best advice I can give is fish the weed lines on the main part of the lake.. We never got anything going up under the bridge.. However with everything spawn wise being a little later this year I may be wrong..

thanks .... I am anxious to fish this lake I have heard so much about .... I am told it takes 20+ to win ..... I will feel like I am at Kentucky Lake

In a spring tourney there this year a buddy had a 7 and change and a 6+ in same bag. There were several over 5lbs weighed.... Lake has tons of solid 3-4lb class fish. I just hope I can find some!

How Did u finish up man? The lake really didn't show itself... We caught a ton of 2.5lb fish, but no one got into any real good 4ish. 4.55 for big bass is bad for that lake. Hope u had as much fun as I did. Great event!
