safe to use ficht with no sys check gauge or horn

Hi does anyone know if it ok to use my ficht 200 (year 2000) with no system check gauge or horn .My gauge is missing and wanted to use boat this weekend have got one ordered and should be hear in a week or so .

Sure! You can run it without a system gage BUT if it over heats or quits pumping oil then your dead in the water.

Ok Thanks both was thinking on lines of older engin es which only relied on pee hole to tell if cooling warning . maybe best wait till gauge arrives . once again thanks
