Here's my report... Went out to Brookville today, lake looked to have turned over. Had a green slim on water at the dam ramp. Water temps 49-50 degrees. Caught one 14in smallmouth mid lake on a spinnerbait, one whitebass on a crankbait. Lots of shad on or near the surface with a little surface action late in the day. Not very productive but a good day to be one any body of water... Dan
I was out there on sat. didn't see any green slime but it was very windy and I put in at fairfeild, caught 5 walleye only 3 was keepers, also had a few crappie and a few white bass. It got too windy to fish so I called it quits. The weekend before I had 9 walleye with 5 keepers ..also got on a bunch of smallies about 30' deep![]()

I fished on Sunday and found the lake to be tough as nails. I fished a small pot tourney out of Bonwell. I had won a tourney a few prior and thought I would take another shot. I wound up catching one smallie on a crankbait that weighed 2.37. A limit was brought in that went 12 or 13 pounds, and I guess they caught their fish on a jerkbait in the pods of bait. Water was 49 degrees, and I think the turnover has definitely occurred, but I guess if the smallies are still deep, maybe it hasn't.

A great fisherman lives here with the catch of his life!
I have been catching the walleye with a vertical jig. Like a buckshot jig or a silver buddy, fishing main lake points around 30' to 40' deep. It has been fun fishing like that, you never know what your gona catch.
