Couldn't get out this weekend, tell me about all the fish you guys caught!

Man i wanted to get out this weekend.

Instead i got caught up on a bunch of house work. dug out all the Christmas stuff, put up half of it. My family has a tradition of a home made Nativity Manger Stand for the tree, so i finally finished ours Saturday morning. Now just need to get the figures to complete it. Some leaves to pick up still, and take a bunch of toys to the basement or good will.

Still have to pack for my trip to Smith Lake in Alabama, leaving on tuesday. Bill on the BBC / Billius says the spots should be ready to rumble.

Caught a few crappie up at Indian on saturady with my grandpa. Then went to Brookeville on sunday and caught 2 keeper bass, 1 14.25" and the other 18.5" 3.5lber both were LM and in less than 4' of water.

Caught a 4# LM out of the private 13 acre lake I live on. Took the jon boat out sunday after watching football. Only fish I caught, but was only out for an hour or so. 4" dinger wacky rigged..

I went for a few hours on Lakengren Saturday and it was tough. Water temp was 42.5F to 45.5F. Even the crappies had a case of lockjaw. I had something slap a spinnerbait and something else nibble a jig but only bass bait bites I had. Switch to crappie fishing and only had a couple dinks. I could feel them nudge the grub but they weren't much interested in eating.

How is Lakengren as a bass fishery?

My uncle owns a house on the lake and I've been meaning to take him out. I'm assuming it is pretty good considering the fact that it is a private lake.
