Not a chance. He will Almost certainly be the #1 pick in year three. He will be gone. Hell he would go #1 in this years draft no doubt.

Well with niners having first pick they may pass since they have Jimmy G. Of course they may trade down to the jags. Jags would give up their left leg to have him. Lol

Thanks. I didn't know that. Either way, the kid is a stud for sure.

Yeah a TRUE freshman! Turned 19 in October. The kid is a stud! Quick release and a rocket for an arm! If he stays injury free for 2 years and continues to develop he will be the 1st pick after 2 more seasons. The game did not look to overwhelm him at all. He was poised and kept his cool 99.9% of the game.

Based on their bodies of work this year, both teams belonged in the the championship. As an orange blooded Tennessee fan, I had to pull for Clemson. So congrats to them, as they played one heck of a game. Bama will be right back in the mix again next year. The most depressing part of this is that Lawrence and Higgins were basically signed with Tennessee until Butch botched everything up. Maybe he has cursed bama too???

What I found startling, was not Saban being out coached, or Tua getting confused and having a bad game, but team speed. I though Bama had fast team speed, but man, Clemson is in another zone. They made those other boys look slow.

Obviously, Clemson is in a league of their own. But speed is a dominant ACC trait, Alabama knew it, but they weren't ready.
I don't feel quite as bad after last night. Clemson mangled FSU this year, when they were weak. But it was ugly, extra ugly.
They are going to be quite a force for awhile. Lawrence has two more years, same with Ross. Going to be dynamic for sure.

None. But there are teams that are close, GA for example. Florida wont be bad next year, LSU has a good defense. I dont think anybody can shut them down like Clemson but you dont have to if you can score 1 more point than they do. And you can bet Venables is #1 pick for head coach on every SEC team after that showcase lol

This kid says Clemson was an easy team to defend against. He says Trevor Lawrence is not a good QB. He just has good receivers. Cant admit defeat.

LOL he sure didn't make himself sound very smart. I hope someone takes him to the side at some point and points out how stupid that sounds.

Clemson’s defense was like a swarm of hornets.

It's a Bama tradition to say they lost because of their own errors. The problem with this one was it was no where near close enough to claim that. This was an down-home-good-ole-country-whuppin, no ifs ands or buts.

Ross made some catches that were pure highlight material!

The reality was Bama qasnt ready and got their butts kicked

Ill say this, Lawrence is good but Ross made him look a whole lot better last night. That kid had 3 Odell type catches last night that were clutch and kept the ball moving. Had he dropped those (they weren't the greatest of passes) Lawrence's number would look a whole lot different.

I cant wait to watch Clemson next year. Clemson amd TX will be in the Championship next year.
