Bad Weather Today.

Hope everyone made it through the nasty weather in the area today? Here in Greensboro. NC we had real high winds and lost power for about 3 hours. Only problem I got was when I went to move a tree limb off neighbor's fence and got a little pain in the back.

Cant remember when I have seen so MANY tornado warnings in my area!

Man, was it a crazy day for weather. Saw on the news where the top of Lowes in Sanford was destroyed. Hope no one was injured.

Closer home, hearing that one touched down near Hardees in a housing development claiming at least one life injuring many others.

My prayers go out the the people in Nc. I am in Raleigh till tomorrow and at south saunders and 40 the tornado mad a wide path. No power just west and some east of the capital. Bad day for weather indeed....

For me, just a lot of clean up..

Had a good friend's neighborhood get hit wiht a twister.. Northeastern Cumberliand county.. All OK with family, but, house took a pretty good hit..

Hope the rest of our BBC gang is OK.. If anyone reuqires some assistance throw it out.. I'm sure folks will help...

I got a chance to see Lowes up close today..UN REAL!!!!! the only way to describe it is a bomb being dropped, the front of Lowes is gone, across the street the TSC and Big Lot store is heavly damaged, the Hardees in front of Lowes is Heavly damaged. trees, lightpoles, and other sturdy things twistedand snapped like toothpicks.
I had to drive through Lemon Springs yesterday getting back home from Kerr, I saw a home completely gone, and at another home an 18 wheeler was lying on it's side and slammed up against the house..
Rich made the right call yesterday to stop near 540 and wait the storms out before heading closer to the house, I'm now thankfull he did, cause the way I go home would have sent me in the direct path of it..
Prayers sent for all who was in the path of these storms...

Just heard on Channel 2 WFMY weather / News 62 + tornadoes hit from Fayetteville to Raleigh. I say a prayer for you folks that made it through those.

All my family lives in Raleigh and are ok. Lots of debris and trees down but no damage. Dad said that stuff was just falling from the sky in their area...crazy stuff!

Anyone heard from Hardhead1? I have tried to call him a couple times today but havemt gotten thru. Hope all is ok!

Didnt have any major damage around here but do have little bread slice size pieces of insulation in the yard. Who knows where it blowed in from.

It was bad about ten miles from me and Falls lake , there was three child kill in a trailer park ? Down the road back over the river after it leave,s the lake it went thru some new housing leveling them to the ground ? A cross town It miss Ray Price ( HD ) motor cycle's and leveler a car body shop ?

Thanks for asking David, I had phone trouble all weekend and my p.c. shut down for a time, but seems like it's all working for now. call anytime before 10:30 am.
