Just got the word today I was accepted for a position with the Cape Fear Valley EMS system. Gave my notice to my boss today. He knew it was coming and had nothing but praise for me. So My last day at work is May 31st and then the next week will be packing and moving to NC. Plan on living in Eastover which is just outside of Fayetteville. So if anyone know of any houses to rent in the area that are affordable (up to $750 monthly), let me know. I'm coming home.

That would be a great help. I apprecieate it. I'm looking for someplace to rent as my Ex had really screwed up my credit. And Im not sure buying is an option with a credit score of 635. Eastover is where I am from originally. Grew up there and then left for the AF at 17. Now its time to come back home. did find a steal to buy in Dunn and would love it but again, wife screwed me. Just dont understand how I could make 100K a year working three jobs and 100 plus hours a week and she would constantly be 30 60 or 90 days late on bills. I had no idea. I will never let a significant other do my bills again.

Welcome to the area and Eastover is a nice place to live. There is plenty of available housing all over Cumberland county. I do all the personal finances myself and the books are always open for the wife to see. I have seen and heard of too many horror stories when only one spouse knows what is going on with the household income/expenses.
