water temp is cold.... low to mid 40's. I'm not real familiar with those ponds down there, but you could be on Harris in about 30 mins from there and the prespwan pattern is starting up with water temps bumping the 50 degree mark. Bait choice would be shad raps, traps, spinnerbaits and jigs
Dont know about down there but if you want to fishin any of the yadkin chain lakes ime going monday, tuesday, and friday if you want to hop in the boat.

Deep weed lines in the 12 to 20 ft range have been the ticket but with this warm trend look at staging areas , been working on them with jerkbaits and plastics lately.
