High Rock in the Morning.

Again with the High Rock Rain all day long and a little this evening. Going to be cold in the morning through Saturday and Sunday. Question is are there any brave souls heading out in the morning for a nice day on the lake?

Everything is going wrong. Got up and boat trailer seting on the ground. Flat tire. Just fixed one a couple weeks ago now the other I just can't catch a break. Oh well got to go fix it and get ready for the weekend.

The lake is down about 2 feet from full now and you should have no trouble getting under bridges. I have heard from several they are bitting. Might try it myself for a few hours on Sunday. Good luck.

Tell um stratos91. Spent from first light till 2:00pm all over Flat Swamp and only boated one 3.68# and one approx !.5#. Co-angler had one also 2#. Good thing was no fog, bad thing was water down 2' + and able to get under bridge and tressel. Little cool out on the water this morning but guess you would have to ask Biglunkerberry to be sure. Question? What big tournament was going out of the Wildlife Ramp off hwy 8 at Abbotts Creek this morning?

There was a small club tournament, a ~30 boat striper club tournament, and another small 12-boat club tournament. It just looked more crowded than it really was...

yeah speedtrap that biglunkerberry has heart to ride that far in on skooter... hate to hear that it was tuff on highrock but fromall that i'm hearing it was tuff almost everywhere yesterday....

I went this morning and caught 6 or 8. Stayed in Abbots. Has a good time, had to quit the wind was driving me nuts!!! Sorry you guys did not have any luck.

Yeah Russell I don't know how far he rode on that scooter but I sure as Heck would not have made the trip in that cold air. Had to be an hour ride from midland to the Flat Swamp ramp. If I had not had to get back to G'boro I would have put the scooter in the truck and drove him to Midland. I athink he said it was an hours drive, don't know never been there or near there.
