Another vote for St Croix. The Bass X is well within the price range you’re looking at and is pretty sensitive for a $100 stick. If you can find them on sale (rare but it happens) I’d suggest going with a mojo or Fenwick elite tech. The Fenwick is definitely more sensitive and easier to find on sale but both are above your price range at 130-150.

I bought a finwick HMG for drop shot, 100$ at bass pro, it is a surprisingly sensitive. I use braid with a leader and that helps as well.

You’re not on here much I suppose. If you can find the “new Dobyns rod” thread on here (think there was actually 2 threads floating around) many guys felt the same way. I have 4 and I like them, but 2 things I’ve noticed. Their rods are always 1 power lighter than what they rate them at and they work better for moving baits vs. bottom contact baits. Yeah I know any rod works for worms & such; but I don’t find them to be near as sensitive.

Heres one with peoples opinions. Might be the most sensitive rod you’ve owned, not mine.

    LATE EDIT: SPINNING ROD
I have Dobyns fury rods on my boat for clients to use. Not a bad rod for the money.

The BuCoo would also get my vote. You can find them for cheaper than the $100 or $110 MSRP. Guys always selling them on the swap/sell rod boards here on BBC at great prices. I've had a bunch of rods in that $100-150 price range. Pound for Pound or buck for buck, the BuCoo I think is the best value if you're talking sensitivity.

Get on tackle warehouse read the reviews or look on here and read. They are descent rods. Their actions are really good for moving baits. They balance nice and are great looking rods, but when my $149 duckett micro magic has more sensitivity than a $259 or $339 dobyns I can't justify the money. Especially when in that price range you can get a megabass rod. For $99 falcon are good, I would look into the duckett Silverado as well when they are available. There is a lot of good options in the $99 range. Heck maybe even a bass pro rod in that price range.

Fenwick HMG is a killer rod at the $100 price point. The new fuji reel seats for 2018 are great.

You can also find the first generation Abu Ike rods on clearance. The Ike rods are the most underrated Abu rods. Keep in mind that you may be banned from BBC if you purchase any product related to Ike.

pick a rod from this site and you will thank me later. Either these rods fish way above their price point or other rods fish way below theirs, you be the judge. Call Alex and he will get you into the rod you need, good luck!

The 13Fishing™ Lime green is actually listed under the "Black" (Ebon) header.. (Makes perfect cents)

I paired this w/a 13Fishing "Bob White" Origin C @ $99 and its an all day winner

[QUOTE=FishInTheDesert;9726915]man I been wanting to try a cashion....but I want something longer than 7 foot! I got it in my head that the longer rods will be more forgiving when it comes time to fight em in!

If you call him he can make anything you want

I’ve got a couple of the second gen BPS Carbonlites when the switched to white. They are in that price range and I find them very sensitive. I have one spinning for shakeyheads , on 7’ MH for worms and one 7’6” MH for heavier stuff.

Really I guess you dont get out much. Love their balance, sensitivity is not great for the price point, and yes I have owned several.
