CHOWAN RIVER "Open Tournament" this Saturday at Tunis NC

Just wanted to let you know our next tournament is this Saturday on
the Chowan River in North Eastern NC.

Some of you should be familiar with the Chowan River ,especially in the Central or eastern part of NC.

We have BASS Tournaments every other weekend and this Saturday is our next Tourney.

Time: Safe light to 3/ 3:30 PM.

Hope to have a good turn out. Suppose to be a beautiful day on the water.

Some guys from Durham are headed down tomorrow to fish it.

what kind of weights have been coming in???

They have been catching the 5 fish limit. 8-12 lbs total weight.

The big fish winners have been won by 6 - 6.5 lb bass. 4 & 5 lb bass also have taken big fish.

The river has starting coming back since the big flood of Isabel several years back.

Well Saturday was a great day. We had total weight winners with almost 18 lbs of fish. 5 fish limit and two of the fish weighing in at about 5.3 lbs each !
