    Tillery this Afternoon

    They have turned on. Seems mostly in the afternoon. Will be there around 1:30 if anyone interested.

    You got me thinking about it. I finally got my battery situation worked and want to go somewhere today. Little scared to go though. Baby is kicking hard inside the wifes tummy!

    I had to fix a flat on Linda's Buick. I'll be leaving shortly for Badin, I think...because I checked the truck tires and the driver side rear only had 20 PSI in it. Maybe I got a nail in it, or something. It's ok, I've already ordered two new tires to replace the two goodyears.

    Talked to Bill yasterday. He and Kathy fished and placed 3 in a tx. Said they lost several big fish.

    Tony was not happy...

    I fished on HR for a bit, got bit only on cranks, only moving them really really fast. Could not buy a nibble with a worm or jig. I was burning a flat bomber with a really fast spinning reel, doubt I could have gotten it going that fast with a baitcaster w/o rippig it... Caught a coupla footballs.. 2 pounds or so just at fourteen inches. All very shallow.

    I'm leaning toward Badin next Saturday if it is really nice. Don't want to fish in the rain.. the raindrops ball up so fast on the wax it makes a snapping sound and scares the fish..

    Friday and Saturday look to be nice days to be out on the water. 70% chance of rain on Sunday. I don't think you have to worry about spooking the fish on Saturday...because you won't be near them...
