Sorry to butt in the thread, but I'm curious about the Etec 250 H.O. as well. Did you guys with the 2009 250 H.O.'s have to take it back to the dealer for a head change and an update? I heard that there was an update/bulletin for some of the 2009 250 H.O.'s. (possibly for hole shot issues?) I was just asking because I am in the market for a 250 H.O. want to do my research.

09 ETEC 250 HO. No head change. Software update only. Running fine.......

no hole shot prob. here . great engine , fast ,quiet. 80 mph on my stratos with ease.

Definitely a holeshot issue for me with an 09 Etec 250 on the Tr 21X. Getting the new head and softwaqre update next week and am hoping the issue is resolved.
