    Johnson GT150?

A friend is looking at a 1990 ranger with a 1990 GT 150 on it. What the story with type and year motor? Are they historically a good motor?
    Thanks

Yep pretty much bullet proof but they do like the fuel, like Rusty says keep them clean and run the XD-50. CM

Keep a check on the fly-wheel magnets. They have been known to get looose....

Not on the GT's the Loopers had some MY's that it would happen to. If it checks out get it. CM

CM - My 1988 GT 150 lost a few magnets over it's life time. Nothing glue could not fix.

6000 RPMs all day long. Big blue has been good to me.

BTW Saw the pics of the TX rally all I could see is your Ranger shirt and your fat wallet ! You must be wanted by the FBI no front shots. . The Motor looks good with the new graphics on it !
