2005 225 HPDI ALARMhave an appointment
Help alarm going off can run 5 or 6 miles before it does. Owners manual say one of three things.
Changed impeller still at wot only showing about 15 psi, new oil pump in hull new filter in reserve tank on engine. Only thing have not touched is fuel side. Runs good wot 66mph so far before alarm goes off.
Scheduled to go in shop in a week anything to try before I take it don’t want to keep running not knowing what else to do.

Does the buzzer go off after you sit for a few minutes? I’m gonna bet it’s your filter on the oil reservoir in the boat. Pull the reservoir out of bracket and lay on its side. The filter is on the bottom, just follow the oil line. If it gets clogged it won’t pump enough oil to the motor to keep motor tank full and it will go into limp mode.
You can pull the filter and try blowing though it. Then backflow with carb cleaner and try running it again. If alarm don’t sound I’d Buy a new filter and call it a day.
