Any issues with a 2006 etec?

Im looking at purchasing a boat with this motor. I am wondering if there were any issues with this particular model.

Nothing out of the ordinary, spend the $$ and have a dealer pull the info, and give it a once over. See if you qualify for an extended warranty.

Im having him pull all the info he can. I am also getting a 1 year warranty. Its coming from a dealership.

What do you mean nothing out of the ordinary? Power heads, pistons or what. I dont have any experience with this motor.

A 4 yea old motor with normal run is what I was trying to say. If the dealer pulls the engine report and all looks well you can call BRP customer service and give them your serial number and they will give you the straight up low down on that particular motor.
