I'm headed up there tomorrow for 3 days of fishing. I'll post when I get back on Friday with a report.

The smallies were on beds @ Squam too.
Didn't much matter what we were throwing.
Senkos rigged texas style got hung up less in the rocks.

I found the smallies on the beds too....it just seemed unfair to catch them, because it was too easy. We caught just as much throwing anything chartreuse(spinnerbaits/crankbaits/topwater) around rocky shorelines in the shady areas. Between the three of us, we caught around 200-250 fish from Tuesday night until yesterday afternoon.

I'm heading up to Ayer Lake in Rochester this Mon-Fri. But I'll most likely also trailer over to another lake or two while up there. Anyone been fishing anywhere other than Winny lately?

Chip - I've been hittin em good at Baxter Lake in Rochester. Watermelon seed Senko has been doing the trick all over.

We stayed in Rochester on Ayer Lake. Unfortuneately we never left Ayer's. It wasn't a bad trip we caught plenty of fish. Very healthy fish and it seemed this year for some reason the fish were fighting harder than I've ever seen before. I did alot of swimbait fishing this year and cleaned up very well with my Rago rats and a Megabait Charlie. I also used a senko (wacky) and Sluggo to catch the rest of the bulk of my fish.

Nice, sounds like good fishing on Ayer's... I'll check it out next time I'm in Rochester.
